Crater Lake

I'm done with, the High School!! Man it's really exciting but also sad because I wess that my year at the end comes.. (

Beloved,
've brought my lunch break ausgedehte behind me. It was great, the lunch break, without any insects that waft around you, no spider webs in the face, protected from the intense sun ....
seems to me that is positioned approximately six weeks, that was last year so for a long break. Means nothing really time 3-4 days.
I had in the past 12 days, 3 times per a day off, but it seems to me that's not enough there. The really after about 5-6 weeks, a period of rest is called for, which makes me rest for a day out. My hosts here are all super nice. Today they are gone for a day on the Baltic Sea. The adult children live in two apartments, so I'm not alone. Since I'm back in Germany, I'm gone in 11 days, believe it or not (only) 136 km. I'm doing here and as rest days, or only go very short distances. It is good for me, although I am "pause Management" keep working. Really to rest / to rest I'm not yet come inside. At times it works quite well, but I'm still too much, too much to do or whatever. On 20./21.5. I am on the night train back to Germany in Czestochowa about Kotowice and Szczecin, and hitchhiked to Bützow Pommau on the Elbe.

Thanks to all the polish people
I am very thankful for all the polish people who did help with the pilgrimage, who did give a room or bed to stay for a night, who did invite me to dinner and breakfast, for nice talks and also sometimes for some money/by surprise.
There is such a consciousness for helping pilgrims, who are going to Jasna Gora to Czestochowa, thats nearly unbelievable. From the young child to every old person. Everybody knows about the place, where I was going to.
The Ikon of Black Madonna is a national holy place. And it seems so, that nearly everybody is respecting this fact.
In August there are big pilgrimages with hundreds of people from every big town in poland. One person told me, that with her group also 2-300 soldiers did come. I asked, why they did come. And she said, because the want to. She had a picture of that group. So the soldiers were walking including all the weapons all the way - in this case lets say 200 km.
One day on the way, I did ask the Black Madonna , who she really is. For me, it did not feel like the Mother Mary, so that was the reason for asking. I ask her, to tell or show me, who she really is.
Very immediatly within the next few km's I got an answer. She told me, that she is a epiphany/appearance of the Earth Mother, Mother Earth. Also in my thought came to nealy the same time the "green Tara" known from buddhism and "Pele" a Godess from Hawaii, who always cames to presence, when the vulcanos get active (to warn the people). So, there are also a facet of mother Earth.
I was quite surprised, because from the katholic church, who is taking care of the ikon, I heard all the time, she is a object of worship for the Holy Mary. But they also speak about the "Holy Mother". So the second question came up, why do you carry the (Jesus)child. Answer was: It was given to me. (in the picture)
So I was quite in process, should I write this in the blog. Can I write it. But it is my expirience.
So it is very interesting for me, that the catholic church is taking care of a ikon, what is a picture of the Earth Mother. But in a way it makes really sence to me.
But on the other hand, I don't know, that anyone else is saying it in this way. So, is it allowed to me, to talk like this about the Black Madonna? Is this o.k.? Or do I come in trubble to say it so. So I do wait and ask for reactions about this.
Anyway, I brought the result of my pilgrimage yesterday to the Black Madonna . For remembering. This pilgrimage was dedicated to all the polish people, who where moved after the 2. World war from earlier eastern poland to now western poland, earlier East Germany. There did still exist a trauma what was called: Are we are still allowed to stay here (or do we have to move again, maybe) I was walking to loose that trauma and I gave the result to the Black Madonna, so she can divide it to anybody, who is still suffering from that, consciously or not aware.
Today I felt really the big influence of the catholic churce to the city and people and I was really nerved by it. It feld narrow and not so free, how I would like to be and feel. It maked me feel uncomfortable. The hole city is influenced so much by the church, so the hole Czestochowa has really truble to be something else. Everything is influenced by it. So I did a walk along the very busy roads, that helped a bit. How crazy. Normaly I never like it.
It is not so easy , to write about some diffecult things in english. Hope I do not produce some misunterstanding and you can follow my thoughts.
And yesterday, by bringing the result of the pilgrimage to the Black Madonna , I had also some trubble. It was never silent. There was one mass after the other, walking and partly also talking people, so a had a very hard time there, for communication with the Black Madonna. But anyway, I did what I had to do. How wonderful it would be, to have just a silent room there. But everybody wants to have a mass directly at the picture. For luck and bliss and so on.

Auf die letzten zwei Wochen detaillierter einzugehen ist fuer mich im Moment eine Ueberforderung. Es gab so viele different individual experiences with people or in nature, that I do not really know what I should pick out. In any case, I wrote all beautiful - for the book.

, then to Taco Bell (fast food restaurant). There, I danced with another girl. I would have never have expected to dance in a restaurant.

The whole evening was just a lot of fun and I wish we had Prom in Germany. One of several cultural differences.

with the view from the window I see the Oder . Fantastic. Only about 3-4-5 days I'm on the Oder on the road. Then comes my way east. In total, there are still about 200-250 km to Czestochowa, I will probably arrive there much sooner than expected.

Sandals and more / english

Dear friends,
I am in Scinawa Polska , a town 40 km south of Breslau/Wroclaw.
I am a guest in a home of some really languages talentes family.
The daughter for example speaks 6 languages.
The father is nominate for election of the european parliament in the beginning of June.
They live directly at this wonderful river Odra, what I love a lot. The river is spending so much peace. Out of the window I do have a wonderful view to that river. It is sunny.
The dog of the family did get my sandals yesterday and tried to eat them. She liked them so much, that one of them needs a very urgend repairing. The mother of the house will go to a shomaker for a repairing try. And that, after I bought this new sandals 3 days ago. They have some extra sandals, who fit quite good, so if a repairing is not possible, I will have them, they said.
And that, after I had this "secret" wish of a break, a pause, after 17 days walking. I am a bit tired, have to rest at least 2-3 hours a day without having a real break, what is also fine and working.
So now I have a break for sure for the next 2-3 hours. And some time on the computer.
Everything is working fine here. I still have every night a place to sleep. The polish people are so wonderful to me. It is for many of them also a very big plesure, to help someone, who is on the way to THE holy national place, the black madonna.
It is another 200-250 km to Czestochowa , Jasna Gora. It seems, that I am there much earlier than calculatad. After that I will go back to the ex-inner-german border, to continue my pilgrimage there - until the 7th of June.

I got also the feeling , that I come closer to the polish people, as longer I go. It is interesting. On one level it is like meeting a person, next day you see this person again, and you continue the talk on another level. So it is here, too, but with the difference, that the talk is every day with different people.
Last sunday some people talked to me on the road. It felt like meeting friends.

Poland is also the architectural style of its sophisticated and beautiful at the same time. New houses are painted like colorful, fences built around it. Meike, been with me in late 2007, said the move, sometimes spontag, looks a bit like here in Brazil. I personally still see other similarities, some southern species, partly with the Baltic states, some with Portugal and get it here still do not know how I could describe it.
I found it interesting to see how my host and his children, who acted as interpreter, responded to the cemetery visit. The Poles are still very very nice to me . Part, I am invited, without a word I, or about 20 words speak polish. And we come along well. But usually there is someone who speaks German or English.
Today was a superintersiver days, as the sun was so pervasive. This is a strong wind, or rather storm. No place to rest, either because too much sun, too much wind or too many mosquitoes.
Last night there was a special experience for me.
I looked, as always, after a quarter. Also yesterday, the weather was very challenging about tags. Sun and wind. Then I went through a dreary forest targeted me, the end would not. In my neighborhood find me a man, opened 45-50 years old, he had to work at night, so I could not sleep in his house. Why do they reach the people so deeply? Why the message touches people so deeply in their hearts? What has done it, can the Poles believe that low? An entire nation - well, almost an entire people - the so-so deeply share the faith with each other, how wonderful. And to me this young man was so sincere and in dignity.

I have been in Poland yet consumes no money from what I brought or exchanged. Everywhere I get accommodation, food .... The Poles have done it that I am completely fed up to here .... All respect.

Greetings from Poland.
The polish people are so beautiful to me. Every night I got a place to sleep, food and met lots of warm hearts.
I am actually more or less busy with some personal problems/work. Surprising.
The weather is very intens. The sun is shining every day. Mostly no clouds.
Today she was very intens. Than together with strong wind or better storm.
Today suddenlz everything was to much. Sun, wind, traffic to loud, no place to rest, to sunny, to windy, to many moscitos.
Luckyly I did find again a place to sleep.
In about 3 days I will arrive in Wroclaw/Breslau.
