2010-12 Christmas in AUS & Gorge Wildlife Park
I just enjoy Lebkuchen and marzipan Stolle and let the final days to pass time in review.
The whole last week hosted LDN closing parties - Zouk, Zumba, Bachata, Salsa! We got special moves and after class, there was finger food.
In salsa we got to the "Neckdrop" . That was so fantastic. Now I've bought right dance shoes. Well appearances can come ...
On 24/12/2010 we have looked only films relaxet and I baked an apple crumble under German recipe. Christmas starts here until 25.12. and goes, due to holidays there until 28.12.
On 12.25.2010 we went to lunch and SARANTOS Sam's house, where we were invited to Xm as-BBQ-pool party. Also thrown in shell - Beach dress, bikini and flip-flops! That was a little weird. Normally I'm always cleaning out when it comes to family Christmas celebrations, but here ...? Here everyone wears only flip-flops, shorts or a dress and if a pool is nearby, then the bikini may not be missing.
On the way to the party held, we briefly at the gas station where I have a very strange photo shot ... Looks to organize as would the family Christmas at a gas station on the car sitting. lol
arrived in Sam's house, her family was already there. As announced, we had about 30 degrees. The sun was burning down just so little clouds in the sky. So just to cool off, before we anschmissen the grill, lamb, pork and a huge ham grabbed it. In the meantime, we all sat in the living room around the Christmas tree, under which piled up the gifts. After we had distributed all the gifts - for us it was a mixer, can we now mix cocktails and smoothies - we jumped back into the pool. Then after three hours, the meat was ready and was served with salads and garlic bread. For dessert - when we were still hungry - there was apple pie, icecream, cream and chocolate cake. After a few laps in the pool, a couple of Pina Coladas for me, we went home around midnight.
26/12/2010
and rested after a good Breakfast and a smoothie (with the new mixer), we went to Glen, who was invited to board game night. We played to about half past two clock in the morning, then won the tiredness!
12/27/2010
Since offering the Gorge Wildlife Park today for special animal shows, we decided to watch them today. So, it was so early got - 10.30 clock - from and to 45 minutes from Wild Life Park The path leads through the mountains on winding roads, always on the Torrens River, which offers a beautiful view.
Once in the Gorge Wildlife Park, we were quite surprised. The park is large and predominantly includes kangaroos, wallabies and birds / ducks. Nonetheless there are also monkeys, camels, leopards, crocodiles, dingoes, koalas, etc. The emus have only just got boy, now with the parents in the exhibit to see. In a compound were Flying Foxes (bats active during the day, eat the fruits), which came even crawled up close, so that I could touch the fur and the "wings". feels a little like rubber ... at
particular highlight here is that you can hold a koala in her arms and cuddle. Animal Keeper also run with animals in their arms through the park, so that they can also caress (birds, koalas, boa constrictors, dingoes, etc.) Since the weather was very warm, we enjoyed the whole day in the park

Johan midday break from the office picked up and on, until Henley Beach . established there in a cozy restaurant and a walk to digest over the pier.
02/12/2010 DO
As Johan has released today and the weather is still inviting to the beach, we have this time for lunch at West Beach . This time we brought our own picnic. So blanket and a picnic spread and enjoyed the sun. Even the water was nice and warm, so we trusted a little inside. However, forget the sun cream ... My back was so burned! Ouch.
the evening, about 18 clock, we went back to Zumba with still almost 30 degrees. So sweated twice ...! As it already after 21 clock, the temperatures were still 28.7 degrees outside!
FR 12/03/2010
Luiza has for me today in a Photobucheroeffnung Lions Hearing Dogs Centre invited. But when I jumped into the car, jumped the car does not! I had forgotten to turn off the light and now the battery was empty. Member of the car-service club I'm not here of course and start cable here has none ...! So I went from neighbor to neighbor, to our friendly neighbor offered me to move my car. No sooner said than done, and fortunately, the car then jumped on it. The afternoon I met with the Bucheroeffnung (photos of dogs: pets and working animals) spent with wine, snacks and Hundepraesentationen.

Another weekend, to which I am so happy! Only sleep times, we are already on their way to the East Coast after Noosa to our well-earned holiday.
But before tomorrow morning goes by 6 clock on the plane, we were tonight still invited to a birthday party of a friend. Narelle invited into the club "Casablabla" a where we were treated to drinks and tapas.

Even if Australia does not celebrate Christmas, I wish you all a wonderful first Christmas!
Our journey began very early. 3.45 clock rang the alarm clock in the morning without mercy so that we would be at the airport for our 6 clock in the morning to get air. First it went to Sydney (where we shot the time by half an hour before) and Sydney It then went to the Sunshine Airport (where we then turned the time back by one hour). Once in the Sunshine Airport - it was raining like cats and dogs and for the next few days were no changes predicted Vera end - we were picked up by a shuttle bus. Since we had to wait another couple, I looked at the Touristeninformaiton around for interesting sights. An elderly man was apparently so happy that I am interested to sights that he like me in a long conversation about Germany involved and then reveled in beautiful memories.
In 'Noosa Entrance' arrived to our resort, we met Brad (Aussie) and Judy (Of Singapore) in the reception. Judy is a good friend of Johan's Mam, so we got to stay for half price and were in the best house - put - Townhouse apartment! And that was huge, super-equipped and situated on a river. After we had set ourselves, we invited Judy and Brad for lunch in the Noosa Yacht Club one. Of course, there's fish & chips!
As there is still continuously raining and we were pretty exhausted from the flight, we decided to just relax ...

all I wish you a nice Nicholas. Unfortunately, there is no Santa Claus. If there is but one that would The look probably like this:
After we had rested comfortably - the rain had not inserted a pause times over night - we had breakfast comfortable. Luckily this is Queensland, which means that even when it rains, the air is very hot, which makes the rain bearable.
After we had seen some brochures, we went to Brad for the reception to make the bookings. For every day we had something before now - relaxet is not our holiday.
Then we lie to us from two fishing rods and bait - as close by the water, we have to just try our luck! Not even the rain abated somewhat. So down to the river and onto the jetty. After only a few Minutes, pulled out a Johan Flathead - the ugliest fish I've ever seen, but delicious. Luckily ran yesterday on TV a documentary about fishing in Queensland, so we knew we had to measure the fish - reached the minimum, the Flathead should tonight be on my food program ...
Now, even the sun a little came out , we rented two kayaks and paddled up the river - until suddenly pulled out a thick cloud over us and soaked us.

For today and tomorrow we rented a car that we were at 9 clock in the morning delivered to the door. Today Day is all in the name of the "Tourism", which means that today all the tourist attractions it.
first went there after the Eumundi Nougat Fabric . The flyer promised to inspect the factory and nougat tastings. Once there, however, was the promised "access to the factory" just a room with a view in darkness with the factory, where an employee cut straight zureckt nougat and the promised "Nougat tasting" were two small bowls of nougat on the counter. Fortunately, this "attraction" for free! After the disappointment it was
then to Yandina, the Ginger Factory where the Ginger Bread Man (similar to gingerbread men) is made. Sorry The factory was currently closed, but you could look at the factory (without workers or product) for a price. But where's the sense in it? So they offered us a bee show where we had a lot about the attitude and the life experience of the bees. Finally, there was even then tasting honey.
Opposite was then located "Nutworks" the nut factory in the macadamia nuts are processed. After an insight into the factory, we ended up in the shop where it was to taste some 20 different products. Visit for free, was worth it!
On the road to Maleny where we wanted a cheese factory visit, we came to a tourist sign over "The big Pineapple! stepped on the brake, the freeway quickly shot down, and even a photo of a giant pineapple (pineapple farm which was unfortunately closed). In Maleny
arrived at the dairy, it made a brief insight into the factory and then a cheese tasting. The cheese is delicious and the whole event for free. : O)
On the way to the cheese we have come to a large wine barrel over, which was a wine center. There quickly stopped, photo shooting, wine tasting - for free!
Back in Noosa, we were invited by Judy and Brad for dinner - Jo, a friend of both, was already there. Judy (from Singapore) cooked some delicious curries, gave it to wine and good conversation.
Around midnight we said goodbye to the three, grabbed our fishing and fished from the jetty. That night a Bream Johan and I have two prisoners.
8/12/2010 MI
After a quick breakfast, we set then, for Eumundi (I'm on a walk along 4 years ago) market. The sun even came out, so it was unbearably hot at midday soon. Before we left, I went to Thomas and Kiki (where I lived for four years) or a short visit. Thomas immediately recognized me and was very amused. Kiki took a while and a few tips ...
Then we had us sprint but, as we have to Underwater World in Mooloolaba (red line) wanted. Once there, we looked around a little, looked at the stingrays and Baramundifuetterung and then at the Seeloewenshow. In advance, we have already booked to swim with sea lions in order to make our stay here special. After Seeloewenshow, we were given the opportunity to get a kiss from a sea lions before it was called, into the swimming trunks, goggles on and into Seeloewenbecken, where the sea lions were waiting for us. Immersed, we could see how they swam past us again and again. Then we got a bungee cord in his hand and allowed to play with one of the lions (see photo's).
On the way back we took the Kuestenroute to enjoy an awesome view of the ocean. And of course it went right back to our fishing on the jetty. This time we had more luck. A Bream for Johan, a Bream for me, a bass or Red Mangrove Jack for me, a black spot for Johan Snapper, Bream one for me and finally a Black Spot Snapper for Johan. Unfortunately, they were all under the limit ...

For today we have booked a day trip to Iceland Fraser. That said, getting up early, since we already 6 clock should be picked up in the morning. Then it was off to Rainbow Beach and on the ferry to Fraser Iceland (here only 280 residents live among others, a police officer, a doctor and a couple of Ranger). Unfortunately the weather was not that great. Very cloudy, but fortunately no rain!
over with the truck gebraust the beach, we stopped right on the beach for coffee and cookies before it went to Lake McKenzie. As the lake is not made of salt water, the water was crystal clear and cold! An hour stay, swimming and sunbathing, then it went into the rain forest. After a walk through the rain forest with giant fig trees, have a BBQ waiting for us - steak and fish. After a pit stop for coffee and cake, we stopped at a shipwreck, which sank in 1935 on the coast and then daily from tourists is visited.
against 17 clock back we took the ferry back and drove along the beach to Noosa.
Also this evening we went fishing again. No luck with the fish, but we came to see a pretty big skates on the shore and hundreds of huge bats flew away over the river when it was dark.

For today the Australia Zoo stood on the plan. A free bus picked us up from Noosa on the morning and took us to Beewah. I visited the zoo four years ago, but Johan did not know him yet. It took us all day to see everything on. Attractions include among others, feeding the elephants. Hundreds of visitors were standing in line, to offer an elephant a piece of fruit, the elephant with his trunk was the fruit from his hand and had a little snot back. We were of course attending ...
Unfortunately, the clouds cleared in the afternoon and the sun burned down. Before we took the bus back, we met yet with Kanako (Echunga was in when I arrived there 11 months ago). It was so nice to see her again.
Back in Noosa, the bus driver dropped us off at the Noosa River, so we had a leisurely stroll along the beach back to our resort. Since it was always so warm yet, we have quickly jumped into the pool before we are with Brad, Judy, Jo and her friends in the bar RED met for a drink.

7.30 clock caught up with us then on Saturday from a shuttle bus to bring us back to the Sunshine Airport. The vacation was now officially over. The flight was cruel. On the way to Sydney, we flew by constantly Luftloecher and three hours after a stay, it went through more Luftloecher to Adelaide, where we arrived 17 against clock. Again firm ground under their feet, we looked forward to the bed, because we were on the trip and our adventure vacation but managed very much. But no sooner landed, even rang the mobile phone ... Yes, we should not miss the birthday party tonight from Sam. So hurry home, gift and snapped off to Sam and SARANTOS where all friends and a huge pig spit waiting for us.

Japanese Strip Dancer
2010-11 pool partys, new home, was xmas wine tour, hearing dogs center
early November, I was stretched a pretty bad cold down. I lay for a few days in bed - no longer was - and I just slept and sweated. And now that the summer is finally here ...!
11/04/2010
On Thursday I was then (personal reasons) decided, Echunga and thus my job with the reptiles, to turn their backs. So I packed my things in the evening, jumped in my car and drove to Adelaide. Since I was still cold always strong, I was very happy that Johan offered me to be accommodated with him. I think I would stand there in a hostel and not more - loud, impersonal, drinking parties ...! My new address is now so Cumberland Park / Adelaide . Cumberland Park (a quiet family house area) is 10 minutes away from downtown and 5 minutes to the Freeway, which leads to the Adelaide Hills. Here I am now living in a 3-bedroom unit (house) with garden, garage and an open kitchen to the dining area. The dance studio is about 10 minutes away from me, and shopping centers are (walking distance) just around the corner. Simply wonderful and very beautiful here. After I had then recovered from this miserable cold, I could now (finally have more free time and more opportunities) take almost daily dance lessons. Monday "Zumba" , Wednesdays Salsa, Thursdays "Zumba" and Saturday "Zouk"! Furthermore, I now need no longer pay for my lessons, but I am doing a favor here and there LDN (Office organization, help with events, reception, ...)
06/11/2010
on Saturday and then invited Sam SARANTOS you to BBQ at her house. In addition to great entertainment and delicious grilled meat jumped, then even the guys in the pool. Well, for me it was nothing. It needs a few warm days, until I reingetraue me.
11/07/2010
I know it's a little early, but soon is already Christmas - just a little over a month! So Johan and I are to "Big W" (a big shopping center for little money) to buy Christmas decorations. Since we found a tree for $ 28 and could not believe it. So the packed balls and in addition, lights and decoration - together for about $ 50 Since we could not believe that the tree for so little money but should look good, we choose it to set up times. And since then but he looked really great, we have him leave immediately! This is the first time in my life that I sooooo time for Christmas decorating! : O)
Then finally arrived Johan's birthday gift from Germany. E in gossip-breaker for his lamp. 2x clap - to light! and 2x clap - from light! Works great, but I not only thought that the switch does not fit in our outlet here ...! So had to see her adapter and thus the whole structure made a little scary! FROM socket - Adapter - gossip switch - Adapter - plug itself
see ... But I also have finally found a shop in Adelaide that sells some German food! Bismarck herring, pudding mix, applesauce, sauerkraut, red cabbage, ... the list is endless. : O) 11/11/2010
On Thursday, I then visited Luiza to their work. She is head coach of the Lions Hearing Dogs Training Center (she trains dogs so they can help deaf people in everyday life). This is the only center in the whole of Australia! After she had me so rumgefuehrt, I could see at training sessions and help wash the dog. End of the month I'll be back again for an internship ...!
12/11/2010
Friday night I drove to "Animals Anonymous" - Staff meeting to Adrian's house to Mylor. After a few organizational speeches by Adrian to his animals and performances, a talk by Jason Carter (Jason is very big in the radio and TVbereich and makes speeches in completed stages) over enjoyed the speeches to large audiences, we then have a cozy campfire .
14/11/2010
As promised much sun this Sunday, we went on to Hahndorf to go to the Farm Barn . Jason (from Friday Meeting) has taken over this farm several months ago and I wanted to see now what it is. Hahndorf Farm Barn is a farm and wildlife Park for children with educational animal shows. They also have taken some sick animals and which offer a serene until the end. Especially they are building a reptile area, for which he asked me the same advice.
walked after a few hours on the farm, we still through Hahndorf, enjoyed lunch and chocolate cake at the Cafe "Chocolate No 5" .
15/11/2010
My last Monday service in CFS was then still a very special service. We drove to Adelaide Airport Fire Service where rumfuehrte we were on the grounds of the station. Fire station, Ueberwachungsturm, rescue boat, fire truck. Simply amazing how the cars are huge. 4-seater, with all possible facilities and a 16,000 liter tank. A "Monitor" (water spray) on the roof, makes any water attack to the pleasure! After a demonstration, where injected water nozzle on the vehicle which we were allowed to have a go - of course, tried the same time the monitor on the roof. Madness. I will not be covered by it, certainly will break every bone in the body!
19/11/2010
Today I then again tried a new kind of dance - Contemporary dance . Is the Jazz Dance / Ballet very similar. I could be the gain, however, nothing that was probably because the coach is the only way through the program and not the end really flew much useful stuck. Was then only a unique experience. After LDN
had scheduled a staff meeting in which I was also invited. We talked mainly about new T-shirt designs and how we can represent us best possible way behind the front desk and should.
When that was then also survived, we brought (Sam, SARANTOS, Johan and myself) food from the Greeks and drove us to Johan's house to be there, end the evening with food and wine.

Not only that weekend, today is the long-xmas ersaehnte wine tour of LDN. At 11 clock we were all (about 25 people) at the studio, where a bus picked us up and brought to Hahndorf for HHW (Hahndorf Hill Winery) . After a guided wine tasting and a complimentary bottle of wine, it went off again into the bus and the next Wineyard. There LDN had rented a room where wine and tapas were served, and lifted the LDN Instructors with funny dances the mood. To 18 us clock the bus then took off again and brought us back to the studio. As a Mexican fundraiser had rented the studio for the evening and we wanted to leave as a dance school end our Christmas party there, so we celebrated together with the fundraiser. As long as there was still light and the sun shines, we enjoyed a few bottles of wine on the outdoor terrace. When we were hungry, we decided together to the opposite local restaurant to go - 6 large variety of pizzas. Sorry Fundraiser has played almost exclusively Mexican music, which we could barely dance (the dance style is basically the hopping from one foot to the other). There was also buying lots and then gains were about 10 spread out on a table. I found a piece of paper on the floor, lifted it up and when I threw it in the trash, I finally realized that there was a lot. Now it was already in the trash ...! I had a feeling that this was a winning ticket! So am I to Johan and I told him about it. He told me to just reach in and take out the lot. I found the idea but really embarrassing to anticipate all the people in the trash. Then I had an idea. We are from the dance school and could easily take out the trash and pack an empty bag in the trash. Looks like we would want to help. Then moved outside with the full bag in a corner and (luckily the lot was at the top) fished out of the lot. I had the feeling to win at 10, my lot had to be there! Around midnight the place was finally drawing of lots (Johan had purchased two lots still fast!). The first lot was drawn and won by a guy named Brian. He was told he could pick up from the table, what he wanted. And that's it ...! A single lot was pulled out of the pot! We looked at all taken aback! But the draw was over. Johan and I almost burst out laughing, especially when we SARANTOS of Sam and our Muelleimerstory told! lol recovered
11/21/2010
and rested, we went in the late afternoon and then to Sam SARANTOS house to the pool & BBQ - Party. Allan (dance teacher from Sydney), Kari and Tyson (Sam's son) were there. As the sun niederbruehte merciless, we all jumped into the water first (well, if you have nice friends here on hot days with a pool)! When we then got the smell of grilled lamb, salads and garlic bread in the nose, it was time to get out.
22.11. - 26.11.2010
Now I have a week's work experience in the Lions Hearing Dogs Centre behind me. Most of the time I spent with Luisa, who showed me what life is a head coach looks like.
Sound Training: train the dog runs to the noise (eg Tuerklingel, telephone, alarm, etc.), then to the deaf person goes, they poke and runs with it to the sound, go for a walk
: train, through the running the city to shop (these dogs are allowed legally in shops and should throw out a shop owner or employee of dog and owner, it can be sued!) or go to the beach where many people - everyday situations, train
Kennel Management: Clean collect all night and day enclosure, food preparation, Pooh, o) tinker
dog toys yourself and then try: Play, play, play,
Dog Wash: Showers, Einschaumen, rinsing, drying and blow-dry, play
cuddling with his dogs and
To set RSPCA go to look for new suitable dogs. This facility saves animals in need and gives them further.
The job itself is really exciting and the thought of how sick or deaf person is helped here is just fantastic. The work - however - is pretty boring. Time will wait here a lot with and sit around spending (before training one can have to the dogs calm down first, take what usually 15 minutes can. They are so excited because they can finally work out that it is difficult, a normal everyday situation ) create. Walkies go is not really my hobby, even if you can always connect to shopping, is probably the most beautiful and someday on the money. From time to time we have been training with Linda (Linda is deaf), which made the whole thing exciting. Luiza then disappeared into a room and started an alarm, Linda and I could not see them because we, for example, in the kitchen with the dog sat. When the alarm went off, I had a thumbs up to show Linda that the alarm has been going on (she lets go of the dog run) and high with a new thumb when I heard that the dog has found the alarm (level 1 of the exercise: find the sound). Sometimes I forgot the last part of my job (thumbs up, when the dog found the sound) and then I realized only at a questioner's face, so that Linda does not hear. Of course, we take much for too much! Since there are people who do not even know that the churning of a toast makes a noise (Luiza told me of a customer who got an implant in his ear and hears for the first time in life and when she chipped in her toast, she heard this funny sounds, to her daughter told her that it is the noise that arises when one has chipped in his toast)! Deaf people have to live every day with the noise in the head, which produces its own brain. Which even me nuts from time to time it - I can cover with the sound from the TV or music, the deaf can not ...! As Linda and Luiza communicate with deaf language, they have taught the same to me a few words and the alphabet. Now I can at least spell in sign language and use the sign for thank you, please, excuse me, some colors, etc..
early November, I was stretched a pretty bad cold down.
When that was then also survived, we brought (Sam, SARANTOS, Johan and myself) food from the Greeks and drove us to Johan's house to be there, end the evening with food and wine.

cafes with play areas
in Erlangen, there are a few cafes where you could find small play areas, so that can drink a cup of coffee. can
1) In the center of the most famous mother Nutmeg Café (restaurant / bistro is) there to eat tasty and healthy. Everything is very fresh! There is a rocking horse, dolls and doll carriage to play with children's chairs. The cafe is recommended for mothers with infants much! There you can also book for several people! There is also space for strollers:)
2) Another is the Beckeria Cafe at City Hall. This is quite full, but you can always find a place to drink coffee. There is a sweet game table with building blocks. Open on Sundays!
3) In Mengin at Castle Garden, there is also a play area. This is located directly on the high steps on the first floor and is therefore not safe in my opinion!
4) A very nice café is the tea house in the Friedrichstrasse. 14 with a very small play area where you could find books and cars. The cafe is recommended for mothers with infants much because it is quiet. In the week you can see there are often groups of mothers drink their coffee. For this you need to book though!
5) A bit far from downtown but in the city, close to AREVA at the Karl-Strasse 18 sugar is the pool, brand new, modern and spacious for a bench and table Painting and building blocks play. On Sundays it is open!
6) Jako-o in the arcade also features a play area in the business, which is not bad but sometimes too full! So one can look at things in peace while the child plays.
7) The yogurt bar in the Lower Karlstr. 15, opposite the university library, has lot of delicious soups that are of little pits and very popular. Six different vegetarian and non-vegetarian soups are available daily on the program (Sundays two). All soups are prepared with fresh ingredients in the house. There are bread and garnish of your choice (all soups to take away). When the weather outside you can enjoy his ice cream and there is much room for the children.
I will look more child-friendly cafes for you.

I will look more child-friendly cafes for you.

forest adventure park in Tennenlohe
If weather makes it really easy and fun to be out even more to play in the woods. The Forest Experience Center in Tennenlohe offers more than just a walk in the woods.
First, you can see with the children in the center in and ask about wood, forest, animals, trees and photosynthesis. You can learn a lot. This is also true for the parents. In the center, the children can play in the sandbox. Since there are also toys. There is also a climbing device and Other wooden games. It is best to sit outside on a bench and have lunch or afternoon snack. There are very cute little tables for the kids but also great for the whole family or for friends. The forest adventure center also has rooms with tables and chairs where you can get coffee or other drinks, but you can donate something. In the center there are also restrooms and a changing room.
After that, the nature trail just outside the center highly recommended!!
man must follow the squirrel character to the individual goals. This is great fun and it is very nice to walk in the woods and discover things such as animal tracks, forest telephone, cable car, wood house, wood rocker!! You can also play in the woods or forest maze Theater!! The tour can last for long like a different style. I would say at least 1 hour!
After that, all are very happy, but tired too!
The forest adventure center for children who have been running, very recommended that the minor may also join. The Forest Adventure Center has all year long open every day, in winter (Novermber-March) it is on Saturday, otherwise it is also open. Check out the web page to: http://www.forst.bayern.de/waldpaedagogik/walderlebniszentren/27247/index.php
One can experience the forest center park right front. The center is easily accessible by bus No. 30 from Nuremberg or Erlangen (stop forest adventure center).

dinosaurs in Tennenlohe
Enjoy
In Tennenlohe can go very nice stroll with children, such as the dinosaurs. It takes a total of 2 hours. One can in Kurt-Schuhmacherstrasse/Weinstrasse park or the bus (No. 30), it is easy to reach (stop forest adventure center). The path is well described. One must simply follow the signs. With the stroller it works very well!
Then we go to the horses!
Enjoy

After Johan and I are now mutated to sushi junkies and quasi eat at least once weekly sushi to go, we have even received a bonus card. Now, together, eat sushi and earn points. What is not everything ...
As the weather is very changeable (a few days of sun and hot, a few days of windy and rainy), we try every beautiful day for Aussenaktivitaeten use. Am 09.10. then again so was a wonderful Summer day, so Nick and I did a motorcycle tour through the "mountains". Winding streets, wonderful views and then a stop for an ice cream in the sun ... Then we went to Kostuemverleih, as I am still none for the upcoming Convention in Melbourne had. Luckily we were looking for long - it should be Catwoman!
In the evening we went to the LDN (Dance Studio) crew to Pepi's (Kari's sister) 21 Birthday party in the district of Belair. They rented a place, made speeches and played music until late into the night. Pepi's little cousin (about 11 years old) has then asked each girl / woman in the room to dance (with dip and spin and all the trimmings), but only because his dad paid him for each dance (the boy allegedly hates dancing and his dad wanted him now to encourage in this way).
on 10/10/2010 was then a wine and cheese festival in the city, with tastings and "How I enjoy wine and cheese together right?" Courses. Of course, Johan and I go there then and enjoyed the many wine, cheese, sausage, liqueurs and Suesswarenstaende. For 16 clock, we then booked into the "What I enjoy wine and cheese together right?" Course and got a great selection of cheese, crackers, fruits and wine available. At the end of the course and unfortunately, the festival, we were vollgefuttert and drunk. Thank you, "Adelaide Wine & Cheese Festival!
While I spend my days working with the reptiles or in Adelaide, the day brings me sometimes and then I forget that I am in beautiful Australia is. But if I then worked at the lodge, however, it falls to me then suddenly again. Especially when on the road to the lodge (if I'm going along to the Sanctuary) hopping Kangaroos next to my car. Although I now have over a year here and I'm genut often had the opportunity to cuddle with Kangaroos, I am still fascinated by them ...
Then it was finally time ... On Friday (15.10.2010) Johan morning brought me to the airport, where Nick was waiting for me, so we can fly to Melbourne for the convention. Since Nick is frequent flyer, it has a membership with the airline, which entitled us to sit in the lounge to enjoy free breakfast and coffee. We were staff members of 9.30 bis 11 clock in the air before we reached Melbourne, and then it went straight to the "town hall" Cenvention Centre to build the stand. Now it was said that more than 20 boxes full spread of images, T-shirts, puzzles, trailer, etc. unpack, decorative on the table, so now visitors to the Convention then much!
went after it quickly to the Oaks Hotel, unpack, freshen up and chic, we were invited to a clock against 20 VIP cocktail party. This article was Celebrities such as:
David Faustino - known from "Married with Children, in which he played Bud Bundy,
Michael Shanks - of" Star Gate ", Ben Browder - of" Star Gate ", Torry Higginson - of "Star Gate", Sylvester McCoy - known from (7) "Doctor Who", Paul McGann - known from (8) "Doctor Who", Jay Laga'aia - of "Home and Away ", Juliet Landau - of" Buffy ". Many fans were there and were hoping to to be able to change their idols a few words. Since I did not know any of the actors, I was not really care. Latysha (17J. helps us in the state this weekend) knew of course everyone wanted to come with their idols, and strictly brought up for discussion. Since it is Shy in order to go alone, I got her "wing women" (which means as much as I help her out of trouble, if you think of any more questions on). So it went from one actor to another, I listened to conversations on the episodes in which she starred, upcoming projects and talks about the weather ... At first they thought I was so hopeless fan, but thought I drove them with the same answer "Oh no, I never one of its episodes seen! "When I finally by those boring talks (who wants 10 listeners something about the weather?) could dissociate, I talked to Tony (Tony and Nick share a booth, so Tony to his comic books can bring the man). He also wondered about my behavior and asked me if I'm not even allowed for the actors. I told him that I am at this party not even an actor of him and I could distinguish. So he felt himself even called to explain to me exactly who in which movie or series was played when. Whether I wanted it or not ...
Then he suddenly stood Sylvester McCoy and Paul McGann with the sentence before, I had never seen one of their series (probably more out of self-interest to even come into the conversation with the actors). So I did come into the discussion with Paul McGann - only about the show, then about life. We talked for about an hour (fans standing all the time beside us, waiting, that they could talk to him but were ignored by Paul) and then, when Paul's protective accompaniment (each actor was given a person placed on the side, in the case, they must be rescued from intrusive fans and so they never stood alone) showed up and said he would be tired from the trip and could now pull back to the room, he said only that he is here quite probably felt! O) He promised me some pictures together, we should see us on the weekend at the convention ...
10/16/2010
I woke up at around 6:30 already, since Nick was snoring next door loud enough for me nothing more left. So I took the 2 hours that remained me to make me alone and ready to have breakfast very comfortable. The event had been riddled with 8.30 bis 18 clock. Luckily it was pretty warm in the huge hall, so I do not freeze with my Catwoman costume needed. Every few minutes, I asked for a photo, so I took the opportunity to also pictures of the other visitors to get dressed. Some visitors even came to me and said, "You're the one who yesterday talked about with Paul McGann an hour!? While we waited next to you and have been ignored, "How funny ...! Then, when David Faustino (Bud Bundy) went past me, he just said with a cheeky grin "Hey my Catwoman. I love your outfit! "However, David is still smaller than me!
After the event feel for today was over, we met Nick and I, then with a few friends in G's pizza bar Since G is the owner and a very good friend of Nick, it's pizzas were in abundance for free. Then we started in the cocktail bar "1806" in Melbourne's inner city.
17/10/2010 8:30 we had back at the convention be - strengthened, good humor and dressed! It is madness WHAT IS OF moderately fans spend a lot of money. Not only for figures, T-shirts, etc. for photo's with the actors and autographs. But they are at their whole day in line ... for our booth had Latysha and then I also get signed photo's of the actor. Our passport and the help of Brad, the Security Man, we could then the queue of fans jump over and go forward ("Go directly about Go!") David Faustino grinned back impishly and greeted me with "Hey my Catwoman, "and Paul recognized me immediately and started a little small talk. Then he said, "Shall we shoot some pictures?", stood up and walked to the situated Tardis where we shot photos then. The fans in the queue looked surprised and said "Oh my God, Paul McGann takes pictures with her!)
was at 18.30 clock the event to an end and we could start again put anything before Nick and I are then for s Dinner went to the casino. Since I was now back in Melbourne, I wanted to visit my old hostel, and friends. John - the receptionist, the sleepless nights shortened with witty conversation - was really surprised and happy to see me suddenly!
Looking for a last cocktail (as bedtime) staggered us (Nick and me) then in the hotel bar where we met a crowd of people gathered again (this time predominantly women) to a man. Nick just said if I would not recognize him ...? Of course not! He explained to me is that John DiMaggio, the "Bender" from Futurama his vote ...
on Monday (18/10/2010) we slept in it before we clock against 13 in a bustling streets of many of Melbourne went for a leisurely breakfast - salmon, ham and scrambled eggs. After that we went though the same for lunch since we had an appointment with Helen (a friend of Nick).
to 18 clock went our plane back home.
After a 3-day working week, it went on 22.10.2010 (Friday) morning at 5 clock back to the airport where we met up with Kari and Shaun, to fly to Sydney to Bachata Competition. A few minutes later, then told us the friendly lady at the check-in desk that I can not go on board! I let Johan book my flight, so we are all in the same plane, although he has booked my flight by mistake on the wrong day. Instead of Friday morning and Sunday down back in the evening, he booked, Sunday morning and Sunday down back in the evening ...! A few hundred dollars and 3 hours later I was on the way to Sydney.
11 clock I ended up in the beautiful warm and Sydney, where Johan was waiting patiently for me before we went to the Great Southern Hotel. Once there, they told us then that we get a better room category (for whatever reason). So now we got a 2-bedroom apartment with huge balcony with even two balcony access.
For brunch we met with Shaun and Kari in a cozy little cafe before us their hotel suite (they live with the entire crew LDN) showed. For dinner we met with the entire LDN (my dance school) and LDA (friendly dance school in Sydney) Crew in a tapas bar where it then was a huge buffet and sangria-non-stop. Full gefuttert then we went into the dance club "O2" to the Pounds to dance again ...
Saturday morning (10/23/2010) we were able to sleep for good luck. Then it was sushi for brunch before the LDN crew in the studio of the LDA crew still had one last dance training before the evening should go to the Competition. To relax the nerves, we all jumped into the hot tub still in the hotel, then we got ready for the Bachata Competition.
addition to the Competition, which ended after midnight, we were also a lot of dancing Bachata, Zouk and Salsa. Our team even made the second place! To celebrate, we went to eat afterwards to the Chinese ...
before our plane was late afternoon back home, we walked (John, Sam, SARANTOS and I) nor the Wildlife Centre in Sydney.
30/10/2010
HALLOWEEN!
Today we were invited to Simon's Halloween party. Simon's parents immigrated from Germany many years ago. So there was German food, like smoked meat - yum yum! Johan and I went dressed as pirates. We even found a bird on our shoulder - he was just a little too big. Simon has given us then is even a fire show. As the night was quite cold and I stood outside in my pirate dress, I'm of course I immediately got off a cold that made me over 60 hours continuously tied to the bed ...
After Johan and I are now mutated to sushi junkies and quasi eat at least once weekly sushi to go, we have even received a bonus card. Now, together, eat sushi and earn points. What is not everything ...

Pinky And The Brain Episodes Online
playground at Bohlenplatz
Actually my favorite playground, because there is so much fun and in the heart of the city. You can go after shopping or walking in the city just quickly to the playground. Therefore, it is often full, but it is big enough and are enough Place.
The playground is suitable exercise for children from 1 year but younger will crawl or walk there. There is a baby swing, two other swing, a large, medium and small slide, a climbing unit, roundabout, wooden house, sandpit, water play, table tennis. If you get hungry or just like to drink coffee, it is very close to a bakery and an Italian Takeaway (in the Upper Charles Street).

Hairbrush Over The Knee
Jugendfarm
Youth Farm in Erlangen is a beautiful place for children of all ages and for parents!
The Youth Farm is very quiet, not crowded, clear and very exciting for the children. There are many animals such as ducks, geese, goats, pigs, horses, ponies and sheep. Just for visiting no admission charge is made. The farm is open every day except Sunday to 18 clock! The animals are fed from 17 clock and kept closed, so it's worth a little earlier in the afternoon to arrive. The forest is located in the mail, in the Spardorferstr. 82, but is not directly on the road, but you have a piece in the forest clean. If you arrive by car, there is often not as much parking, so it is sometimes necessary in the first race Spardorf the car to leave. So it is by the way nice walk in the woods:).
In the youth farm there is also seating and a swing. The best wear warm, rain pants and take a drink to bring and eat.
Youth Farm has occasionally also many other activities for children such as painting, baking, horseback riding and child care. The best way to look at the website: http://www.jugendfarm-er.de/
Have fun!
