13.05.
This morning I woke with a severe bladder problem - it was said, quickly, quickly, quickly! All day I had the feeling that I run every five minutes to the toilet needs - which was pretty annoying. During the day it became so bad that I could barely stand upright. So we went to the doctor - urine test done and the safety also can not send to the lab. The Doctor said it looks like a simple bladder infection, which should be resolved quickly with antibiotics. So back home, and armed with hot water bottle and blanket myself in front of the fire and "relaxed". Hopefully for me to feel better soon, but with a hot water bottle can sleep well anyway better in this fall weather. O)
Then, as I find it somewhat better, we made a fire in the garden to burn the underbrush and the trees that were not able to come through the summer. In the evening we went to Adelaide to Vanessa (friend of the family reported to have heard of her) to pick up. She stays over the weekend to attend courses at the venomous snake.
14.05.
had a very quiet day today, we have worked hard for it and made us comfortable in front of the fire. I've now started to write again - a "book". 15.05.
Our day started very early in the morning today so that we all papers, presentations and equipment prepared. Because today starts our two day course poisonous snakes. About 10 people have appeared to do so. First it went through a bit of theory - first aid, behavior of individual snakes, ... - and then it went into the reptile house to train with the poisonous snakes. In the evening we went
(Max, Sonia, Vanessa and I) then. First it went to the Sexpo Adelaide, which is probably more liberal than in Germany. "Meet your favorite Porn Stars up close" on the stage said the porn stars were not only naked but also very excited. Take pictures and touch (anywhere) was very welcome. 16.05.
Today we held the second part of our poisonous snakes course. Theory and practice mixed, it was very exciting. And then when we went with equipment and snakes in the garden, were even the first nervous. Now it was serious. Now it was to catch venomous snakes. We shared our "apprentices" in two groups, leaving each free group is a snake. Armed with bag and hook, then everyone could try, the snake quickly, safely and with little stress to capture the snake again. Most fought very bravely. For me it was now the first time I caught a snake, but by the almost daily handling, I had no problems. Thus, I also have my "Venomous Snake Catching course" successfully completed. A further step in the right direction. Now I do if a poisonous snake crossed my path, they capture this for sure!
